The limited space of small Copenhagen apartments inspired designers Lise Vilslev and Mathilde Møberg to create a floating coat rack that hangs from the ceiling, or if you are lucky from a beam. Copenhanger can be used anywhere in your home where space restrictions are challenged by storage needs. The functional product, named after its place og origin, fits into every room - from kitchen and nursery to the hallway and bedroom. It consists of eleven wooden pegs that spiral harmoniously down an 85 cm pole. The diameter is approximately 15 cm. The suspension consist of two meters of leather cord – a length that ensures usability also in high-ceiling rooms up to 3,40 mtr. The leather cord is tied with a reef knot, but if you are a sailor or boy scout you might choose a more fancy knot to add your own touch. Copenhanger is made of FSC certified oak wood and is manufactured in Scandinavia. It is available in 2 variants: oiled oak and smoked oak. Both versions has been treated so they can be cleaned with a dry clean cloth. Copenhanger is delivered with a brass hook for hanging and a hanging guide. Packed in a practical cotton bag and put in a strong box with carrying handle to enable easy transport. Try to balance your cloth when putting it on your Copenhanger, you will soon get the hang of it.
